1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Trova ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Trova is a product intelligence platform that helps product teams synthesize customer feedback, identify opportunities, and generate specifications. The Service uses artificial intelligence to analyze data and provide insights.

3. Account Registration

When you create an account, you must:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use
  • Be at least 16 years of age

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Workspaces and Organizations

Your account may be part of an organization with multiple workspaces. Organization administrators can manage team members, billing, and access permissions. The organization owner is responsible for ensuring all team members comply with these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Transmit malware, viruses, or other harmful code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Scrape or collect data from the Service without permission
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
  • Use the Service to build a competing product

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of content you upload to Trova ("Your Content"). By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to:

  • Store and process Your Content to provide the Service
  • Analyze Your Content using AI to generate insights
  • Display Your Content to authorized users in your organization

We do not use Your Content to train AI models. We do not share Your Content with third parties except as necessary to provide the Service or as required by law.

7. Integrations

The Service may integrate with third-party services (e.g., Intercom, Zendesk, Linear, Jira). Your use of these integrations is subject to the terms and privacy policies of those services. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

8. Subscription and Billing

Trova offers various subscription plans with different features and limits:

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually
  • You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period
  • We may change pricing with 30 days notice
  • Overages may apply if you exceed plan limits
  • Refunds are provided at our discretion

9. Free Trial

We may offer a free trial with limited features. Free trials are limited to 3 spec generations per workspace. At the end of the trial, you must subscribe to continue using the Service. We reserve the right to modify or terminate free trial offerings.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Trova and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Our trademarks may not be used without our prior written consent.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE. AI-GENERATED INSIGHTS ARE PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES AND SHOULD NOT BE RELIED UPON AS THE SOLE BASIS FOR BUSINESS DECISIONS.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TROVA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Trova and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
